Guaranteed Ride Home is a free benefit for registered Go Vermont carpoolers and vanpoolers.

To register complete the online rideshare form.

Congratulations! You've joined a carpool or vanpool - a great way to reduce the stress of daily commuting.  But what happens when the school calls and asks you to pick up your sick child, or you suddenly have to work late?  How will you get home if you didn't drive to work yourself?

When you register with Go Vermont - and you carpool or vanpool two or more days a week - you are automatically enrolled in Emergency Ride Home. This FREE benefit helps pay for the ride you need in an emergency.

How does Go Vermont's Guaranteed Ride Home benefit work?

1. Once you register your carpool or vanpool with Go Vermont, you are automatically enrolled for the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) benefit.  In about a week, you will receive your GRH membership card, which will explain how the program works in your area.

2. When an emergency arises, pull out your GRH card and follow the simple instructions to receive your benefit.

3. Go Vermont will pay up to $70 per emergency, up to two times within a single month or six times within a calendar year.  If your ride costs more than $70, you are responsible for paying the remaining balance.*

With Go Vermont, you'll have the security of knowing you won't have to pay for the whole cost of your ride home.

* Program guidelines vary per region.  Please contact your local RideShare Coordinator for details.
