DAV Network

Disabled American Veterans is a network of volunteer drivers nationwide that help all veterans with transportation to and from VA Medical Centers. This service can be coordinated via the Hospital Service Coordinator at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, or by calling the Vermont DAV directly.

Addison County Transit Resources

Addison County Transit Resources (ACTR) provides bus service in Addison County, with connector routes to Burlington and Rutland. Routes within the Middlebury Fare Free Zone are free, and people ages 0-17, 60+, or with an ADA recognized disability ride for half price. Some veterans may also qualify to participate in Dial-a-Ride, a free door-to-door transportation service.
