Disabled American Veterans is a network of volunteer drivers nationwide that help all veterans with transportation to and from VA Medical Centers. This service can be coordinated via the Hospital Service Coordinator at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, or by calling the Vermont DAV directly.

Marble Valley Transit
Marble Valley Transit provides bus service in the Rutland County area, with route deviations offered up to ¼ of a mile from fixed routes. ADA Certified passengers may ride Rutland City fixed routes for free. Anyone with an ID from Castleton State College, College of St. Joseph, Community College of Vermont, Green Mountain College and Vermont Adult Learning may also ride for free. Some other routes also offer discounts.
Vermont Translines operates two daily long-distance bus routes—one from Burlington that travels down Route 7 and ends in Albany, NY, and the other from Rutland to White River Junction and Hanover, NH. Both routes have stops along the way.
