Biking
Get ready to rethink cycling
Riding a bicycle is a great way to get around town, squeeze in your exercise for the day, and save a lot of carbon pollution while enjoying the fresh air. Most towns and larger companies have plenty of bike racks, and you can even take your bike on the bus! Today, it’s more convenient than ever to commute via bike. Vermont is home to many bike shops and organizations that make it easy to:
- Choose the right bike for commuting or recreation
- Learn safety tips and rules for riding
- Sign up for a workshop on safety, repair, and riding with family
- Find maps and route suggestions
- Earn perks through programs and challenges that encourage cycling
Working late? Change in weather? When biking home isn’t an option, Go! Vermont can help, with the Guaranteed Ride Home.
